Yes! Creating an account, browsing listings, and listing your items on RentVerse is completely free. We believe in making rentals accessible to everyone without any upfront cost.
Which cities does RentVerse operate in?+
RentVerse currently operates in 50+ cities across India, including Indore, Bhopal, Nepanagar, Seevel, Pachmarhi, and many more. We are expanding rapidly!
How do I create an account?+
Click the "Sign In" button in the top navigation, then select "Register". Fill in your full name, phone number, email, and password. Once registered, you can immediately start browsing or listing items.
For Renters
How do I book a rental?+
Browse listings, click "Book Now" on any item, select your rental dates, and submit your booking request. The owner will confirm and you'll receive full contact details for pickup.
Can I cancel a booking?+
Yes. You can cancel before the owner confirms with no charges. After confirmation, cancellations are subject to the owner's cancellation policy. Contact the owner via WhatsApp for any cancellation requests.
What if the item is damaged or not as described?+
Contact us immediately at [email protected] or WhatsApp +91 79871 12702. We will mediate and help resolve the issue fairly for both parties.
How do I know if a listing is trustworthy?+
Check the owner's verified badge, reviews, and ratings. Review listing photos carefully and message the owner with questions before booking. Always take photos when receiving and returning any rental item.
For Owners (Listing Your Items)
How do I list my item on RentVerse?+
Click "List Item" in the navigation bar. Fill in the listing form with your item's title, category, description, photos, price per day, and contact details. Your listing will be visible to thousands of potential renters.
What items can I list on RentVerse?+
You can list almost anything that can be rented legally — properties, vehicles, tools, equipment, cameras, event supplies, sports gear, and more. Items that are illegal or unsafe cannot be listed.
How do I set the right price for my listing?+
Browse similar items in your category and location to understand market rates. Consider the item's value, condition, demand, and maintenance costs. You can always adjust pricing based on bookings received.
Can I edit or remove my listing?+
Yes. You can edit details, update photos, change pricing, or remove your listing at any time from your "My Account" section. Contact our support team if you need assistance.
Payments & Pricing
How do payments work on RentVerse?+
Currently, payments are handled directly between the renter and owner via UPI, cash, bank transfer, or any method agreed upon. We are working on integrated payment support for even more security.
Are there any hidden charges?+
No hidden charges from RentVerse. The price shown in the listing is what you pay to the owner. Any additional charges (security deposit, delivery) must be clearly mentioned in the listing upfront.
Is a security deposit required?+
Some owners may require a security deposit, especially for high-value items. This will be mentioned in the listing. Security deposits are refundable upon safe return of the item.
Safety & Trust
Is my personal data safe on RentVerse?+
Yes. Your personal information is encrypted and never sold to third parties. We only share minimum required information between renters and owners after a booking is confirmed. Read our Privacy Policy.
What if I suspect a scam or fraudulent listing?+
Do not proceed and report it immediately to [email protected] or WhatsApp +91 79871 12702. We take fraud very seriously and will investigate and remove fraudulent listings immediately.
How are users verified on RentVerse?+
Users verify their account via phone number and email during registration. We are working on enhanced KYC verification for high-value item owners. Always check a user's review history before transacting.
